TACTICAL PATROL: Basic to High-Risk Approach and Contact This advanced-level course is designed to equip patrol officers with the tactical skills and decision-making strategies necessary for safely and effectively handling approaches and entries from basic to high-risk. Through scenario-based training and real-world application, students will learn how to assess evolving threats, interpret behavior, communicate effectively and coordinate with cover officers to successfully execute tactical approach and entries in dynamic, high-stress environments. This two-day, fast paced, data driven course focuses on realistic challenges faced on the streets, ensuring officers are prepared to approach People, Buildings and Vehicles with all the physical, emotional and tactical skills necessary to ensure rapid, effective responses. Regardless of agency size, this class benefits every officer, from rookies to veteran, who will approach a person, vehicle or building. As with all Calibre programs, this class is always evolving to present students with the most recent events. We utilizes and analyzes current videos and incidents to examine how to prevent tragic occurrences. This course is designed to both teach and review .
